Join us for a new weekly hatha yoga class every Saturday morning, created with our community in mind! This class combines pranayama (breathing exercises), asana (yoga postures), and meditation to help you find balance, strength and inner peace. We believe yoga should be accessible to everyone, which is why we’ve made this class donation-based – pay what you can, or simply come as you are. Whether you’re new to yoga or have been practicing for years, whether you’re financially comfortable or facing challenges, you belong here.

This is more than just a yoga class; it’s our way of giving back and building a supportive community where everyone can experience the benefits of yoga together.No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Come practice with us and be part of something meaningful.

About Kirti Devi: Kirti is a holistic wellness facilitator and yoga instructor who utilizes various alternative practices to return the mind and body to a homeostatic state. Over the last decade, she has been working with yoga, reiki, sound and nutrition to bring healing to herself and to her community. Together with her soothing singing voice and intentionally chosen instruments, she has nurtured the inner child in others and provided a safe space for release.

This lecture will focus on the correlation between fertility and immunity, highlighting how maintaining fertility promotes the beauty of skin, hair, nails, and overall energetic luster. Mas will also examine the role of yoga in women’s health and maintaining balance in the modern age.

Genetics are hot topic in modern health but largely misunderstood compared to Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology. Learn how genes are influenced by your karma as disseminated by the planets and signs and how ayurveda treats such factors through preventative measures such as diet, herbalism and more. Understand the planetary cycles (dashas) and how the moon and genetics are related. This fascinating lecture will also include Q&A related to factors in your own birth chart.

Devotional practices and sentiments are the cornerstone of all yoga paths (karma-jnana, raja, tantra) and all spiritual traditions. Devotion, as rooted in nature, sensuality, cooking, herbs, relationships, mantras-chanting and rituals,  is the heart of yoga. This interactive wisdom lecture will also include historical background of song-chanting, sanskrtiti as an energy based language and moments of insightful guided meditation and intuitive development from the heart.

Title: Digestion – The Roots of Health & Wellness
According to Ayurveda, health begins in the gut and how we metabolize food. Digestion or jathara agni is considered the mother center of human health because it is where disease begins in many forms. Mas will define good metabolism and lifestyle practices that support it and discuss use of diet, herbs, postural yoga exercises for maintaining healthy digestion. We will also review various common gut disorders and their treatment.
